Leading a violent revolt against his predecessor, Adam Ena ascends as the Fifth Emperor of the LaGrange Empire. A society on the verge of collapse, Adam seeks to consolidate power and influence under his name as he butts heads with General Raziel, a veteran of Empire affairs that holds vast influence over politicians, elites and stands as the only individual able to challenge Emperor Ena.

Introduced alongside Adam Ena are his two aides: Bulletchef Abanego Eri who presides over the weapon R&D in the Empire and is a timid crack shot capable of effortlessly hitting targets from great distances, and Master of Registries Nao Enoch who acts as the manager of the Empire's resources and handles the PR side of Adam Ena's regime; he is also adept at hand-to-hand combat. Together, Eri and Nao serve as Adam Ena's bodyguards, advisors and only companions in the corrupt nation. Even as Adam's aides, the duo still question the resolve and intention of their leader and stand as the voice of reason to all of Adam Ena's questionable decisions.

In the end, Emperor Ena and General Raziel head towards an inevitable clash of wills, influence and violence that will determine the future of the LaGrange Empire: will society collapse entirely, or can Adam Ena save the Empire before it cannibalizes itself?
